Do late arrivals on the red carpet delay the start of a show?  Evidently it does if your name is Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie. Celebrity gossip sites reported that Angelina and Brad arrived late on the red carpet at the Critics Choice Awards ceremony.

The couple was the last to walk down the red carpet according to recent celebrity gossip. This late arrival was so late, ceremony organizers were shouting "the show is about to start!" Was this appeal to hurry enough to forego photo opportunity on the red carpet? Evidently not, because celebrity gossip reports that Brad whispered to Angelina, "do you have to do your thing?" and she did. She is said to have posed as usual for the photographers before going into the ceremony.

Now I am a big fan of both Angelina and Brad, and yes it is just possible they had a legitimate reason for arriving late to the ceremony. And no, never once did they ask for the ceremony to be delayed on their behalf, but the need for Ms. Jolie to stop and pose for the cameras was taking it a bit far.
