Apparently the youngster was sentenced to eight months in jail after crashing his car last August and seriously injuring his friend. Celebrity gossip articles claim Nick was charged with reckless driving and driving under the influence. In addition to the eight months in jail, Nick was also given 500 hours of community service and his license was revoked for three years. Apparently, he was drag racing and had reached at a speed of over 100 miles per hour when his car crashed into a palm tree.
This celebrity gossip doesn’t surprise me in the least. There are many celebrity gossip articles about the latest reckless antics of the entitled brats of the rich and famous. These kids seem to think that because their parents are celebrities, they are somehow above the law. I’m pleased that the judge did not let Nick off lightly. Like many young people these days, Nick needs to learn that each action he takes has consequences. I hope he learns a lesson from his punishment.
