On Wednesday, Carey, 38, married Cannon, 27, after just one month of dating.

They obtained a wedding license on the Caribbean island of Eleuthera, a source told People magazine. According to celebrity gossip blog Perez Hilton, there was no prenuptial agreement. This is not exactly the best idea for Carey who is one of the best selling artists of all time. The celebrity gossip website alleges that Carey was crazy in love over minor celebrity, Cannon. You would think it was the other way around.

Some wonder if this juicy celebrity gossip is merely a publicity stunt. Others are wondering if she's going through a breakdown reminiscent of her TRL fiasco during the golden age of Carson Daly's career. Years ago, Carey was having issues with the box office bomb, Glitter. Today, celebrity gossip is speculating that she may be going through a mid-life crisis.

Either way, Mariah Carey is becoming a more common name in celebrity gossip web sites. Perhaps, Carey wants to be the center of attention. After all, there's no such thing as bad publicity.
